Ms. Scarborough is admitted to practice in California and in the United States District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts of California. Ms. Scarborough interned for the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office while in law school. She started her career in the Bay Area, working as a private criminal defense and dependency attorney, gaining valuable trial experience.

Ms. Scarborough became a civil litigator in 2000. Her practice has included business litigation, real estate disputes, intellectual property, Elder Abuse, employment disputes, insurance defense, insurance disputes, construction disputes and personal injury actions. Ms. Scarborough also acts as corporate counsel for Intuit Beauty, Inc., and assists clients with general business related transactions. Ms. Scarborough joined Murphy, Campbell, Guthrie & Alliston in June of 2007, and works primarily in the firm's litigation and business transaction departments.

Ms. Scarborough is a member of the State Bar of California, Sacramento County Bar Association and Roseville Chamber of Commerce. She is a previous member of the executive committee of Santa Clara County Chapter of Volunteers in Parole and was recipient of VIP Outstanding Volunteer of the Year.
