Suzanne Nicholson graduated from University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1998 and is admitted to practice in both Alaska (1998) and California (2000). In 1998, Ms. Nicholson served as a judicial extern to Associate Justice Connie Callahan at the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District in Sacramento.

After law school, Ms. Nicholson worked as an Assistant Public Defender in rural Alaska before returning to California and beginning work for George Murphy at Farmer, Murphy, Smith & Alliston in 2000. She joined Murphy, Campbell, Guthrie & Alliston at its formation in 2007, and works primarily in the firm’s appellate department; however, she is also experienced in insurance coverage and litigation.
