Real Estate Litigation

We have the capability and experience to efficiently and effectively give counsel to and advocate on behalf of our clients in nearly all matters associated with real estate including the purchase and sale of real estate, real estate financing, sales commissions, title insurance, boundary line adjustment and easements.

Business Litigation

Our lawyers have experience in litigating a wide variety of disputes which arise in a business setting. Our experience means we can provide insight into the economics of litigation problems which bring clarity to the financial decisions which must be made by individuals or businesses who find themselves embroiled in business disputes.

Our attorneys have counseled and represented clients in disputes which arise out of sales, professional services, licensing, and leasing activities, the purchase and sale of businesses, as well as all manner of intra-entity disputes, such as partnership, corporate, and limited liability dissolution, buy sell disagreements, and shareholder derivative actions.  We have successfully handled cases involving allegations of misappropriation of trade secrets, usurpation of business opportunities, unfair competition, patent infringement, and a variety of business torts.

Professional Liability

Some members of our firm have been handling professional liability cases for nearly two decades. Our experience includes both the prosecution and defense of cases involving real estate agents and brokers, lawyers, doctors, nurses, and insurance agents and brokers.

Construction Defects

Construction defect litigation and litigation regarding insurance for such litigation are a substantial part of the firm's practice, melding together the firm's experience with complex litigation, its construction expertise, including an attorney who is a licensed general contractor, and when necessary its insurance coverage experience.

"Toxic" Mold

"Toxic" mold litigation has become an active area of the law, and the firm has developed an extensive expertise in this area, representing property owners in actions alleging injuries due to "toxic" mold, representing injured persons, and advising and litigating on behalf of clients regarding insurance for allegations of injury or damage due to mold. Among other things, the firm represents a property manager sued by hundreds of residents of an apartment complex.
