George Guthrie practices in the areas of general tort and contract litigation, including litigation of construction defects, construction contracts, hazardous mold, personal injury, premises liability and insurer bad faith. He holds a B1 California General Contractor's License and his past experience in the construction of single family homes, multi-unit residential developments and light commercial projects greatly enhances his legal practice.

Mr. Guthrie has successfully represented owners, contractors and sub-contractors in cases involving new construction renovations, site preparation and waterproofing. He is experienced in identifying and obtaining the participation of insurance companies in defending lawsuits against contractors and sub-contractors. Mr. Guthrie also represents and advises multi-residential property owners and management companies in matters related to tenant relations, statutory compliance, habitability issues and in development of procedural guidelines for property management.

Mr. Guthrie is a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History, cum laude, from California State University, Sacramento and his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.
